The Indian Institute of Education was
shifted to Pune in 1976 as better infrastructural facilities
became available at this location. The Institute is a
non-government organization, a Registered Society and
Charitable Public Trust. Its mandate covers research and
teaching in educational policy, planning, management, and
non-formal alternatives to the existing structures and
processes, at all stages of education. It subscribes to an
integrated view of education and development. |
